Lesson script
Ties connect notes and tell you to keep holding — Cynthia’s Stargazer example holds Cs for a long ringing total. Do not clear the pedal too early; let notes bloom. Count through the long holds. Silence after the ring is part of the piece. Done when: tied Cs truly sustain for the full written time.
Instrument paths
- Piano: Stargazer page; focus on ties + pedal.
- Strings: Long tones matching the held C.
- Percussion: No percussion during sustained ties — only after release.

- Solo child: Child counts aloud through ties.
